100 five-star Google reviews

Norton Plumbing has passed 100 five-star reviews on Google. That is 100 local families and businesses across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs who trusted us in their homes, then took a few minutes to say the work was done well. We wanted to stop and say thank you.

When Adam started Norton Plumbing in 2019, the plan was simple. Do honest work, turn up when we say we will, and leave every home the way we would want our own left. A hundred reviews later, that is still the whole plan.

We do not take a single one for granted. A review is someone choosing to spend their own time helping a local business, usually after a stressful day involving a leak, a blocked drain or no hot water.

Our 100th review

The hundredth came from William, who had just bought his first home and then found problem after problem in his first week in it.

"I just bought my first home and within days of moving in I was discovering leak, after leak, after leak. Adam sorted everything and the pricing of it all was absolutely spot on. If you need something done right, first time, give Norton Plumbing a call. I can finally use my bathroom basin again."

What keeps coming up

Reading back through the reviews, the same few things come up again and again, and none of them are complicated.

• Turning up, and turning up again if it is needed. Rachel had a blockage in her kitchen line that was not fully cleared on the first visit, so Adam came back straight away to reassess it, on a Sunday.
• Being straight about the job. Cathy described Adam as reliable, honest, and highly skilled, which is about the best three words we could ask for.
• Not wasting anyone's time. Tim noticed that Adam made a special effort to get everything done without needing a second trip.
• Cleaning up properly. Greer mentioned it directly, that Adam is tidy and always cleans up after a job. It tends to be the part customers remember longest.

Still a local plumber

Norton Plumbing works across Coogee, Randwick, Maroubra, Bondi and Clovelly, and most days that means jobs a few streets apart. Being a local plumber means the home we fix today might belong to a neighbour of the one we fixed last week. That keeps you honest in a way no amount of advertising does.
